A Lovely Family Day Out
Mr B and I have taken some time off because quite frankly we are both exhausted, I wanted to make sure that we had some family time just chilling and a few nice days out, so we decided to go and check out the new Riverside Museum.
When I was a kid my Mum used to drag us around museums during the summer holidays which I hated at the time, but thinking back they were actually great and I have some lovely memories of those days out.
The Transport Museum was one we always went to because my youngest sister absolutely loved it and I knew the exhibits like the back of my hand so I was really excited to see the new museum and to find out if it lived up to the hype.
We didn’t tell Miss B where we were going and she was coming out with all kinds of brilliant ideas of where she was going including swimming, Asda, soft play, her Gugs and Falkirk! I made sure we were there for it opening at 10am and I’m really glad I did because by 11am there was a queue to get into the car park.
Miss B had a blast, she loved looking at all the cars, motorbikes, trams and her favourite were the fire engines since she wants to be Penny from Fireman Sam when she grows up. Mr B also loved all the Star Wars memorabilia and retro toys that took him back to some lovely childhood memories :)
Afterwards we went into Glasgow and took a trip to Wagamama which is one of Miss Bs favourite places in the world and then had a look round the shops.
While I was getting Miss B ready for bed tonight she told me that she had a brilliant day out and that she was a very lucky girl.
Here are some pics from our visit
